A medical report has to be obtained before it is possible to accurately assess the amount of compensation which a person (you) should receive.
These figures are approximate amounts which could be awarded for different types of injury.

In addition to these awards it is possible to claim for any loss of earnings, (if you only receive basic SSP while you are absent from work), you suffer.

You can also claim for damage to personal belongings and private medical treatment if it is required.

Additionally a claim can be made for care and assistance which has been provided by family members or friends following the accident.
